IGNITA VERITAS UNIVERSITY

We are partners with IVU. OVERVIEW OF IGNITA VERITAS UNIVERSITY: Multifunctional Role as International Non-Profit Institution Ignita Veritas University (IVU) is an international non-profit educational institution, with enhanced capabilities as a law centre, established as a United Nations level inter-governmental organization (IGO).The Latin name “Ignita Veritas” means “Fire of Truth”, or “Fiery Truth”. This represents its foundational dedication to developing and promoting factual bases for empirical, historical, academic and practical truth, as the necessary fabric of civilization. This also expresses the principle that education and academic discourse must never be compromised by political agendas, as both the accuracy and transparency of factual truth are essential to the collective welfare of humanity. The word “university” (in Latin, “universitas”) means literally a community of scholars operating diverse programs through a centralized institution. Historically, universities provide the host infrastructure for many various academic faculties, non-profit institutes, research and development centres, charitable civil society programs, and even law centres for non-profit legal services.True to this time-honoured tradition of a university being literally “universal” in its functions, Ignita Veritas University (IVU) operates multiple autonomous subdivisions. The central theme that unifies all programs and services under this University is “legal aspects of human rights, geopolitical and economic security under the rule of law”, backed by institutional academic expertise.IVU is internationally licensed and accredited by a Ministry of Education as a university educational institution, with lawful authority to grant a full range of academic degrees. It maintains advanced academic and scholarly research programs in international law, relevant specialties of ancient and medieval history as related to geopolitics, and other areas of importance to the stability of civilizations.IVU is also internationally licensed by a Ministry of Education and Ministry of Scientific Research as an educational accrediting agency, with lawful authority to accredit other universities and their academic programs, including the management of transfer credits between institutions.IVU is internationally licensed by a Ministry of Justice as a law centre, serving as the host inter-governmental organization (IGO) for its autonomous Centre for Legal and Economic Security (CLES) providing legal services. The law centre is authorized to provide expert legal consultation and strategic or transactional legal work for private, governmental or intergovernmental organizations worldwide.Combining its law centre and university aspects in the context of international law, IVU also functions as a geopolitical research institute. As an inter-governmental organization (IGO) of sovereignty with diplomatic relations, IVU contributes advisory support and technical expertise to assist United Nations projects, enabling the university to effectively contribute to applied geopolitics.Under its licensed authority from a Ministry of Justice and Ministry of Foreign Affairs, and also statutory authority of international law, IVU serves as the host inter-governmental organization (IGO) institution supporting the autonomousSovereign Court of International Justice (SCIJ) for the adjudication and enforcement of international law and human rights, and subsidiary Arbitration Court of International Justice (ACIJ) for binding commercial arbitration. Both are United Nations level IGO Courts of Law of the independent Judiciary profession, holding their own international licenses to serve as an official Court of Justice and independent Judiciary body.In the educational sector, IVU serves as an accrediting agency and educational institution, upholding standards and promoting advancements in academia, in cooperation with other accredited universities and academic institutions. In the public sector, IVU serves as an independent contractor for governmental or intergovernmental organizations, providing operational support for international security, protection of national sovereignty, promotion of economic prosperity, upholding international law, and defending civil rights and human rights. In these public-sector roles, IVU serves as an independent United Nations level inter-governmental organization (IGO) institution, possessing its own diplomatic status as a sovereign subject of international law. It thereby maintains political neutrality, is not subject to influence by any one country, and equally protects the legitimate interests of all countries under international law.In the private sector, IVU functions as an international law centre, providing services for legal and economic security. These capabilities can be applied to the protection of national critical infrastructure assets which are operated by private enterprises, professional institutions and non-profit organizations. In these private-sector roles, IVU gives private companies and organizations many of the capabilities and advantages which national security agencies use to protect government ministries and subdivisions, and empowers the private sector to operate more freely with less governmental interference. Multinational Background with Geopolitical BalanceIgnita Veritas University (IVU) evolved from decades of development and networking by diverse non-profit civil society organizations, assisted by cooperation with various universities, private government contractors and veterans associations, from multiple countries of different political alignments. The formation of IVU was inspired by the Western tradition of individual entrepreneurs applying strong discipline, advanced skills and self-developed leadership abilities, to drive commerce and industry forward to prosperity. It was equally inspired by the Eastern European tradition of scholarly societies and academic associations commanding the attention and respect of governments, as guardians of the public welfare, to contribute educational resources in support of international peace and humanitarian affairs. While the development of IVU was initially driven by leading world experts from North American and Eastern European academic circles, it was greatly enhanced by the unique contributions of top university scholars and experts from the Middle East, the African continent, Latin America and the Caribbean. This diverse underlying academic and cultural background has made IVU and its autonomous subdivisions fully compatible with the Non-Aligned Movement (NAM) of independent countries constituting over 70% of the United Nations General Assembly. As a result, IVU as an institution is organically “mainstream”, with an underlying “grassroots” foundation, while remaining free from undue influence from any dominating country.Ignita Veritas University (IVU) as a United Nations level inter-governmental organization (IGO) is a non-profit institution based in the United States, without any involvement or dependence upon any American governmental authority. For geopolitical balance and stability, IVU as a sovereign IGO, through its foreign affiliate, holds multiple permanent international licenses from the constitutional Republic of Egypt as a leading NAM country of Northern Africa, without any controlling influence from any government. Non-Profit Tax Deductible Status as Humanitarian OrganizationIgnita Veritas University (IVU) is a registered Non-Profit organization, granted international Tax Exempt status by a national Ministry of Taxation and also Ministry of Finance. All donations and grants to the various non-profit activities of IVU are universally “tax deductible” by international standards.Under the United States Tax Code, because IVU is “operated exclusively for charitable or educational purposes”, all donations to the American branch of IVU are specifically tax deductible for all donors by authority of 26 USC 170(c)(2), and donations to any foreign branches of IVU are fully tax deductible for individual donors under 26 USC 170(c)(4). The use of all donated funds by IVU is wholly tax exempt, by automatic statutory authority of 26 USC 501(a). Accordingly, IVU has general automatic statutory tax exemption, as a matter of law, as “501(a) status”, and is thus exempt from any special filings or regulation associated with the popularized “501(c)(3)” status, thereby preserving its independence.IVU manages, supports and promotes a wide range of non-profit, philanthropic and humanitarian projects. Many projects provide support for universities, libraries, museums, charitable programs of religious organizations, and other non-profit institutions. Key strategic missions of IVU humanitarian projects include the protection and enforcement of human rights, and the promotion of access to justice, and access to education. http://www.iv-university.org/
